Hmm so a MacBook Air at 799 would be 650 then movers coupon would take it down to 585. Man less than 600 for a mb air? Anyone confirm u can do this?

Just did this. $584.99 for 11"/4/128 (base).

$799.99 base price
-$150.00 student discount
-10% off from USPS Moving Pack
(Note: Even if you present this first, it'll apply at the end. Do 10% off $649.99, not $799.99.)

$584.99 result. I'm tax exempt as well and had no issues with that.

Also did this with a 13"/4/256 $1099.99 for a friend. Separate transaction, same person right after my transaction did it. $854.99 result.

Did you do this in-store or online?

Discount code on ebay?

I'm a teacher and unlike Apple, Best Buy won't give us a discount.....but I want to get a new Air while it's on sale and I figure I use the 10% off coupon that will make the price better than apple. Someone mentioned that people are selling the $150 discount codes on ebay, and indeed they are pretty cheap. Does anyone know if they ask you for any verification of your student status in store, or do you just hand them the code?

thanks

They just scan the coupon. No verification needed. I've used the college deals around 5 times in the last year for various items and never got questioned. If the barcode scans they don't care.

Where did you get the usps movers coupon? Is there a way to get it online? Doesn't the best buy people say you can't stack coupons?

I did a little more reading and figured the deals out. I did it at Best Buy this morning. Great discounts. Thanks!

Well I'm glad to report it worked for me. The rep at first said only 1 coupon at a time. I said I spoke with someone else who said I can use a edu discount and movers coupon. He said well he'll try scanning it anyway. Could tell he was new cuz he didn't seem overly confident in his knowledge. He scanned them both no problem. 674 before tax for base 13" model. After tax 714.

It worked out cuz he was the only one at the tech counter to check out. The others who seem more knowledgable we're busy with other customers.

Got a new Air today, used $150 student coupon and 10% movers coupon. Handed both to the cashier together, he didn't question it at all and both went through perfectly.

Best Buy student discount coupons only $100

New coupons released today by Best Buy for students have $100 off Macbook and iMacs. It had been $150 off for at least the past year.

If you still have the email from the previous coupons you can still use the $150 off until July 12th

And I'm assuming you will be able to use these new coupons as well.

Also, anyone who wants any of the new coupons just send me a PM, I will have 2 sets of them (I have an email from a university that I am not going to attend and they have not yet shut it down). First come first serve.

check your address book and you may find some friends with an .edu address. They can then log into best buy and get a coupon. Easy stuff.

I know thread necromancy is bad, but my 6 1/2 year old MacBook finally bit the dust, and I need a replacement. If anyone has a code they could send to me, it would be greatly appreciated.
