Best Graphics card for HiDPI 3,1 MacPro setup

Hello,

I'm looking at upgrading my 3,1 Mac Pro graphics card so that I can use a 4K display in HiDPI mode on OS X. I currently have a Radeon 5870 installed at present, so I'm looking for a graphics card that offers the following things:

1. Being able to drive the widest range of 4K displays on the market right now.
2. A graphics card that regress on the performance of my current 5870.

Any help regarding this would be great!
