Want to find out what’s going on nearby? Throwing a block party and need to get the word out about it? Blix is a free, simple way to discover what’s going on nearby, like parties, protests, and food trucks. Share photos with everyone within a few miles - not just your friends.

Blix is great for getting off of technology and finding something to do in real life, whether it’s finding a special event that’s going on, a party that someone’s throwing, or even food trucks to eat at. Instead of seeing your friends’ vacation photos, and memes that they think are funny, Blix shows photos that people around you took of cool hikes to take, great restaurants, or special events.

Blix is available for free on the iOS App Store at http://goblix.it - you don't need an account to discover what's going on nearby!

Just downloaded Blix and you aren't seeing any posts? That's probably because no one in your area is using Blix yet - but you can fix that! Share Blix on social media, or tap the activity button at the bottom of the screen, tap "friends list", and then "invite friends" - you'll be able to get more users on Blix sharing what's going on in your community, and as a plus, your score goes up for every time you invite one of your contacts!
