I thought it was Red Frog ... but I digress.

So without downloading this file, what actual information is in the file other than the UDID?

Curious choice. We have 2 bars in town, next to each other called blue toad and red frog.

This was all just really blown out of proportion for what it is.

Of course the FBI didn't have only 12 million UDIDs, they have 100s of millions of them all.

Too bad you didn't read the actual article.

They didn't look through the list, someone else did, found several references to Blue Toad within the data (more than was statistically probable without some connection to Blue Toad), and contacted the company to warn them it might be their information. They then did their own search, found that it was their data, contacted law enforcement and NBC.

Thanks for the clarification. I read the linked blog entry (which didn't mention it) but not the NBC News article (which did).
