Correct me if I am wrong but I could of swore there were button sounds when using the Calculator before the new upgraded firmware. Now my calculator buttons are completely silent.

ive been wondering where that sound comes from when i type on my ipt .. even when my earphones are out i hear it.

The iPod Touch does have a speaker, though it can only produce beeping noises (for alarms, etc). That's why you can hear noises when you type without the headphones. This can be turned off by going to Settings --> General --> Sound Effects --> Off.

my 1.1.2 has no calculator sounds. Maybe your crazy :)

I could have sworn I had calculator button sounds before the 1.1.3 upgrade, so maybe I am crazy. :D

Sure would be nice if the calculator had button sounds though.

Why would you want the Calculator to have a sound for the buttons?
