Think they may have the year wrong, the 1.8 i5 only came on the 2017 MBA, albeit it's not a huge step up from the 2015.
I'm guessing the coloured bar for that one is a different colour because there were less scores submitted for that model, or maybe it was an anomaly.
You're right in assuming that model wouldn't be better for LPX compared to, say, the 15" 2015 which scores lower. Less CPU power, less per-core performance on the CPU, slower I/O, slower graphics for Metal.
