Can you download Lion with a free developer reg.

I doubt I will actually develop anything but if you sign up for a free developer account can you get the Lion preview?

I'm OK with computers but this is my first Mac, would it be crazy of me to even try?

Nope you need to pay $99 to get lion. Either way, Apple will be happy to take your $99 even if you choose not to develop

I figured nothings free. I guess I have to wait till summer like everyone else. Looking forward to the new mail, love the mail on the iPad
