    Hey Folks,
just bought ipad 2 few hours ago. and its awesome.
Anyways, A quick question please, I am able to put .avi movies and videos in ipad via itunes.
What extensions are allowed to play in the ipad?
and what software would convert all the formats into the one accepted by the ipad?

I would highly appreciate a quick rpely.

    Thank you
    G

I heard this is an easy to use app:

I tired the demo and found it did a good job. But since I don't keep any videos on my iPhone I had no need for it.

Or you can use AirVideo to stream movies directly to your iPad:

This is what I use at home. Apparently it also works with the new Apple TV.

Download AVPlayer HD. You can play any format you want, plus subtitles. Uses swipe gestures to. It's similar to VLC. Take your .avi files and insert them into your iPad via iTunes.

This looks like a nice app. If I had an iPad I would probably go for that instead of going through the hassle of converting all the movies.
