Can't select login Items to delete

Running macOS 13.6.1 on a 2017 27" iMac.

Noticed a Login Item, Loom.app, which isn't even installed on my computer a this time. Tried to select it to delete, but the line only flashes and won't let me select it. Same for other Login Items.

Anyone have any thoughts to fix this behavior? Much appreciated.

Before I posted, I meant to restart in Safe Mode, but forgot. Have done it now, and like so many other things, it fixed the issue and I was able to remove the login item. Also did searches using Spotlight and Find Any File and found that even though it wasn't in my applications, Loom had many other entries so I manually deleted them all. Hopefully, it won't be looming over me anymore!
