Is there a method of casting your screen to a television screen? I know about AirPlay, but I'm asking how to cast the entire screen. If I wanted to edit a document or have a chat with someone, I can refer to my television and not my screen. Is that possible?

It is called Airplay Display. If you have a recent enough Mac, and an Apple TV you can send your whole screen to your television.

You can do it via the Cast extension in Google Chrome to your Chromecast.
