changing Iphone's user agent string

    Some sites refuse access to Safari users, like applicationmanager.gov, instead referring users to free browsers. Additionally, as far as I know, iPhone does not allow other browsers other than Mobile Safari to be installed.

    So can we get around a site's restriction by changing the Iphone's user agent string? How could this be done, so your Iphone could imitate Firefox, IE, or Opera? Thanks for your thoughts.

    With the site you mention above, I think it'd be a lost cause, because:
