I have my trackpad set to right click on click with two fingers, yet when I do a physical click with one finger near the bottom right corner, it also right clicks. Is this a hardware problem or is there some software setting I'm missing?

Your trackpad recognises clicks that are done in the corners as different. You can right click with the left bottom corner, right bottom etc. You can change what everything does in the trackpad settings.

Maybe there's a mouse settings or something? I remember in my MBP there were settings for the use you explained... Just search better I have no mac right now to guide you exactly to the spot, but you'll find it somewhere in the settings.

pff mac better than windows FU, windows rulez all. I have a multitouch trackpad that tries to recognise 2 fingers and the scrolling sucks badly!
lolw00t? True, mac ftw!
