Thanks. I do disagree with where you put Alabama, they lost quite convincingly to Oklahoma. The Rose Bowl was somewhat closer, but not really much of an upset (except for the turf-accountants). I think I would be pushing Alabama below Stanford.

And you are quite mistaken about Monday's game, Auburn will actually win, leaving 3 teams tied at 13-1 – such fun. I kind of lament the playoff idea, controversy and dispute is what college football should be about.

I think Auburn will be number 1 after this ^^

I would've liked to see another SEC team win it in the last BCS game (SEC has won it since the game was first introduced).

Agreed. I'm glad that there will be a playoff, I think a 4 team playoff is too limited. However, it is way better than the BCS. Thank goodness that monstrosity is finally dead.

Watching the championship game reminded me how horrible college defenses are. So much poor tackling it's ridiculous.

While I agree a 4-team playoff is only a minor improvement, at least the NCAA (and affiliates) recognize the need for a playoff. Who knows, now that there actually is a playoff, I'm sure down the road they'll realize that and get it to the appropriate number of teams.

Agreed. I expect we'll eventually get an 8-10 team playoff.
