connect to XP from 10.3

I need to connect to my wifes XP Home machine to retrieve some files. When I go to connect->browse->MSHOME-> and connect to her computer name in 10.3 it says original object cannot be found. I haace set the folder on the XP box to be shared. I need these files tonight for a presentation at work. I cannot burn to a disk becuase CD rom f=drive is ow working, and it is 2gigs worth of files so email is not a option. What do I need to do to get these two computers to communicate. I'm used to a novell network so am not sure what needs to be set on the XP box. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
