Our little MB is a multimedia gem, even though it is an old skool model (Core Duo, 512mb RAM, 60gb HD)

With the stock 512mb RAM, running demanding apps like AbletonLive! is not a problem, although we do plan to treat the Mac to a 1 GB RAM card pretty soon.

With the $25 miniDVI - TV adapter, we played selections from our massive digital movie library stored on an external HD and images looked sharp and clear on our old tele, and NO WEIRD SETUP ISSUES that are par for the course on a PC!

Also plugged in our nifty USB audio driver (M-audio) that enables multiple ins & outs, allowing us to do DJ stuff with none of the problems that baby had on the desktop PC, running a genuine stereo audio output through a mixer through external speakers. Half the time the M-audio wouldn't even show up on the PC but the Mac can handle it just fine.

What are some of the neatest things you've done to maximize the multimedia potential of your MacBook?
