What the &%$$^^%$?
Every time I put my new 1gig Cruzer micro into my (or any othe machine running 10.4.6) it launches Toast as if it is a CD. I have already deleted the junk files on it - to no avail. And, if you go into system preferences and tell the system to "open finder" on CD insertion - the Cruzer, on insertion, brings up its own icon PLUS a CD icon. Cool, but hardly tolerable. Need I go back to the old 256 model? I also thought I might reformat it - disk utility offers only Mac format for this thing.

Well if you think about it, CDs and the Cruzer are actually similar. They are both mediums for storage of data. I think Toast opens whenever it detects a new blank medium regardless of how its connected, either by USB or CD so that's what may be happening.

Ya so..try reformatting.
