Hi all

When I press the iCloud 'sign out' prompt in 'settings/icloud' on my iPhone 6 I get the message "if you sign out of your account, all photos & Documents and Data stored in iCloud will be removed from this phone". Is this right?

The reason I ask is because I have been updating my account data on the phone for which I had to log in with my apple password and which I obviously don't want to leave open because then anyone could access my account and see my passwords etc. So I only want to log out of the change my details function, not the whole if the Cloud and thus delete my data.

Any help gratefully received

Yes thats correct, but obviously not want you want.

You secure your iphone by use of TouchId and a passcode. Anybody gets your phone will need these to look at your data. No need for signing out of anything on the phone.
