Hi,

I'm using an Apple Wireless (Bluetooth) keyboard with the D-Link dbt-120 R4 dongle...Flashed with mac firmware v. 1.2.

In fact I'm using this on an x86_64 PC in Linux, but that is irrelevant.

My proiblem is that the dongle doesn't react to the vol up, down and mute keys, and misreads the scancode sent by cd-eject as F12 (ie F12 and cd eject send exactly trhe same scancode).

The problem is identical in both HID Proxy and HCI modes.

I'm sure this is not a problem with the PC architecture or OS, as the dongle simply doesn't react for the first three keystrokes, and I have read and compared the raw data from the cd eject and F12 keys.

Has anyone else had similar problems using this dongle, or is it possible that my keyboard is faulty??

Cheers

Marius

It might not be irrelevant - as it says here the Mac bluetooth firmware 1.2 update makes D-Link USB dongles not compatible with non-Mac systems
