Ok. I'm new to messing with iTunes. After moving things around and doing various other screwing with tags and such, I've learned my lesson about what can be screwed up. But I need to know how I can line up all of the dead track listings to delete them. I'd even be ok with just resetting and letting it find my music again, but I've also ripped some CD's so those are settled in the iTunes directory so I'm not sure how that would be affected. If I could at least just delete dead track all at once rather than scrolling through all of the files looking for them individually, that'd be great. Thoughts?

It doesn't really seem to be possible. A tedious manual scan seems to be the only option.

Also, bear in mind you're best off doing tag changes outside iTunes as the Apple software frequently hogs tag changes in it's library, and doesn't write it out to the corresponding file.
