I think my question is a little different than the standard question about duplicates:

I used senturi to copy my files from my ipod to my macbook pro. The trouble is that the program kept crashing on me. As a result I have multiple copies of the same song but with a different naming structure (the copy has a 1 or 2 at the end so it appears as a different file in finder / spotlight). The files don't show up in itunes which is good, but they still take up space. I can't just use spotlight to find all of my duplicates because some of my songs legitimately end with a number one (ex. Manifest destiny Part 1.m4 by Local H).

I tried tidy up and the itunes dupes barrier, neither run well or solve my problem.

Could someone share some insight as to how I could remedy my problem?

Wow! I can't believe that I have not received one response!

Does any one know if I would use Automator to delete my duplicates? I am knew the mac OS...I would appreciate any help I could get.
