iPod Demo ITMS

You know in an Apple store on the Demo mac's you can go onto ITMS, well can you download music and if so can you put it on your own ipod?

If you want to pay for it. But then you won't be able to use it on your Mac or PC without your iPod being in disk mode.

but how do you pay for something in a demo ITMS account?

I tried once, when the iTMS was new. The demo account is set-up in such a way that it gives you some polite error message saying that it's a demo account, and you can't purchase music with it.

You could just hear the 30-second clip of the song and if you like it you can set up a real account and buy it.
