iPhone 14 Pro Max "ding dong" in Apple maps while navigating

Why is there a loud "ding dong" sound, whilst navigating in Apple Maps? It's still evident in iOS 17.1

I'm using an iPhone 14 Pro Max, with Siri doing the navigating.
