Display enclosure

The Apple display's have been in the same disclosure for over a year now (6/2004). When were they changed to the last enclosure? I know they were still in it by 1/2003, so it took them over a year to change the enclosure last time, too. I'm just curious as to how long Apple keeps the same look going on their monitors, and when people think they will switch away from this one.

I think that when Apple starts the big Intel transition, we will see a lot of visual changes (ie redesigned powerbooks, powermacs, etc). I'm sure about that time we will see some new displays.

Hmmm, that's a good point. I hadn't thought about that affecting the displays before.
