    Hey Everyone,

In a bid to address the WiFi issues of mountain lion I am going to try doing a clean install of ML from a USB stick as it was previously an upgrade. The only thing is once I have installed I am going to restore from a back up on a time machine to bring back all my stuff, but I don't initially want OSX 10.8.2 on my computer. Just 10.8.0

My question is, if I restore from the back up, will my system be at 10.8.2 or just 10.8.0?

    Cheers,

    Tom

That depends on the date of said backup and the version of the system while the backup was made. If you do a TM restore through the recovery (or boot from DVD), it will show you the date and version of the available backups.
