Hey Mac friends, earlier this year I posted a search for an application to extract audio from a DVD. The best application turned out to be OSEx, an application that works well, but I'm having trouble extracting AC-3 files now. I'm trying to make a Demo DVD for my showroom at work, and I'm extracting certain scenes from certain DVD's. With a bunch of current movies to choose from, so far the only two that have worked is Top Gun and the Matrix. All other AC-3 files import and have proper files sizes, but are not selectable in DVD Studio Pro or APack, which is my primary application to make this demo dvd.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Bmode.

I'm not sure what you are looking for here. OSEx is pretty old, from what I recall. I was using DVDbackup for a while, but it didn't seem as though it was being maintained. Now I use MacTheRipper, which has worked very well.
