Is there a way of making an MP3 (or any other iPod friendly audio file) from an MP4 video file?

I want to be able to listen to various TV shows on my iPod without having to watch them.

Thanks.

If you have a DAW you're working with that supports video tracks you can transfer it to an MOV and import it into a session.

Then just bounce the audio down to wav or mp3.

If you've got the time and money, a program like Audio Hijack will let you basically make a copy of the audio of just about anything, but it has to be done in real time, and it costs about $20 for the program.
