I am thinking about getting an eMac for home use. I have a 12in PB, but it's pain to pack and unpack every day and hook up to all my peripherals. I don't need anything more powerful than the eMac, but i am concerned about the monitor resolution. It defaults to 1024 by 768 pixels, but supports up to 1280 by 960 pixels. All you eMac owners - what do you think of its performance for non-graphic intensive use - web surfing, Word, Excel, light Photoshop stuff?

thanks for your advice!

It's very nice, the CRT is the same as the 17 studio display, it's flat and crisp, and works well under the higher resolutions.

I think it compares well to the 17 PBooks screen, which is the best screen I've seen on a Mac.
