Hello,

I have just switched to iPhone 6 from 5S. I use power button to end up calls when iPhone on my ear. But on iPhone 6, this function is not working properly. I think this is a bug or a change. While talking someone in a call when iPhone on my ear, if I pressed power button the call must end immediately. With 5S this works properly but with iPhone 6 I have to stay away it from my ear to end call with power button. The function does not work when screen was off (proximity sensor on).

Is there any chance to make it older way? Possible with JB? What about iOS 9 ?

Thanks.

It's likely like that by design given the placement of the lock/sleep button on the side of the phone (and thus increased chances of accidentally pressing it while holding the phone to the ear, at least compared to it being on top). No way to change it in stock iOS (be it 8 or 9). Perhaps a jailbreak tweak of some sort, but that's probably the only possibility.
