Just found it and I wish I knew it before:
If you get external monitor for your eMac, iMac, iBook (with proper patch) or Powerbook, most probably it will be bigger and better than internal one and you would want to use it as a primary screen with menu bar, popups and dock (at the bottom) appearing on it, etc.
This can be done by going to System Preferences -> Displays -> Arrangement tab. Then just drag the menu bar icon to the other screen icon.
It is so obvious that I could not figure it out for a month, expecting it to be somewhere in the menus! Dark Windows past...
