Hello,

My husband and I just purchased a Western Digital HD (160GB) for the purpose of tranfering photos and music and a few files. The main question though is this. I have an iBook and my husband has a Dell PC. I know that the HD is compatible with bot MAC OS and Windows but, can we actually both dump our files into the HD and each use from one another collection? Photos, Musics, iTunes in general? Will there be a conflict or should the files transfer from one OS to another? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can. It should already be formatted so that it can be used by both.
You could tell your husband to get a mac too. Then you could use Mac Os Journalled

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. What exactly is Mac OS Journaled? I'm still learning. ;-)
