So, I was looking for answers in this forum to this question but could find any. This may help other members out as well jsut as an FYI.

My questions are:
If you ignore someone, can they still see YOUR posts?
If someone else quotes someone that you are ignoring, will you see that quote?
Are people given notification when they've been put on an ignore list?

Thank you,
O

Let's try an experiment, ignore me, then see if I can read your posts.
that is- if you can PM me after you ignore me ( so I know I am being ignored).

The more I say it in my head the more enamored I become with the word "ignore" -

try it!:)

BV is right, far as I can tell. I didn't used to use the feature, but it helps in the Political Forums. Of course, most of them are either banned or left by now. Any reason in particular, or are you just tired of us all hitting on you all the time like poor Lacero? :p

(wouldn't it be funny if Lacero was like, a 50 year old fat hairy guy in New Jersey or something)

Yep solvs, it sure would be funny for me when you do find that out.

Especially after you've admittedly spent all that time chasing poor Lacero around.

I know I'm a bit of a flirt, but I'm not that bad. I'd rather be courteous than a stalker. :p But I could imagine the PM's. That was a very pretty Avatar.

So yeah, it would be funny. Really funny. ;)

I love the ignore feature. There are a few posters that tend to be contrary in 90% + of their posts. I come here to learn and, on occasion, laugh -- not be annoyed by somebody who fancies him/her self a bit better than the rest of us and lacks the inhibition not to say as much.

To avoid this frustration, I "set it and forget it."

I especially like this section of MacRumors. I learn more about the inner workings of the site and the rules for being a good member.

Do you remember?

RONCO. Pocket. Fisherman.

Am I showing my age? I mean, wisdom? And insight?
