most of them threads are out dated soit would be nice to hear new apps

New apps don't pop up that frequently, but you are right that some of those threads haven't been updated in a while. You might check out iusethis that was mentioned in that thread...looks like a cool site with new apps, a section of most used and also hot apps.

I can't live without UNO and VLC. My two favourites by far.
