Just to avoid confusion in the future, that "the line in the timline that indicates where in the timeline it's at" is called the scrubber. as it "scrubs" over the video with time.

ah, you keyboard shortcutists
to be honest, i just didn't know the shortcut for snapping. (i have this allergy to reading 2000 page manuals).

Did you know that there are keyboards color-coded and marked specifically for use with PCP?

do you use/recomend them? i was thinking about getting the after effects one (i think i found a reasonable efficiant way to use FCP).
