I was wondering where I can set it so that the line in the timline that indicates where in the timeline it's at, so that it automatically goes to then end or beginning of a clip when it's near it?
I hope this makes sense....thanks!

Just to avoid confusion in the future, that "the line in the timline that indicates where in the timeline it's at" is called the scrubber. as it "scrubs" over the video with time.

sorry, i know it was confusing! hehe, i couldn't think of any other way to word it, i was also really tired too.

i didn't know how to describe the little icon, and i certainly wasn't going to take a snapshot for him. haha

:eek: ah, you keyboard shortcutists ;)

to be honest, i just didn't know the shortcut for snapping. (i have this allergy to reading 2000 page manuals).

do you use/recomend them? i was thinking about getting the after effects one (i think i found a reasonable efficiant way to use FCP).
