within individual layouts, is there a way to set a default page setup?

to illustrate:

i have 2 layouts, one i need to print out 8.5" wide, 11" tall.

the other layout i need 11" wide, 8.5" tall.

every time i go back and forth between printing in each layout, if i forget to fix the page setup, i end up wasting paper.

i've looked all the places i can think of, but nothing yet that i have tried will default the page setup in the way i need it.

thanks!

jkaz,

You don't mention what version of filemaker you're using, but I would accomplish this with a script.

I've got FM7Dev and just wrote two quick scripts for printing: one called "Print Large", the other called "Print Small."

"Print Large" uses 13x19" paper, at 100% in landscape.
"Print Small" uses 8.5x11" paper, at 50%, in portrait.

Go to ScriptMaker and view the list of "Files" script steps. The applicable steps are "Print Setup" and "Print".

Best,
Anton
