Flatbed/Negative Scanner Suggestions

I have been looking for a flatbed/negative scanner and I just want to see what other MR users have to say. This Canon and this Epson are ones that I am looking at. Price I want to stay in is about $150, but if there is something a little more expensive that has the specs to warrant it, please suggest it.
