Hi. I was deleting my bootcamp partition when the assistant froze. Then the computer froze and I couldn't even force quit bootcamp assistant. So I shut down my mac by holding the power button down. Now, when I reboot, I have 25 GB (the size of my former bootcamp partition) of "free space" that I can't recover. When I boot from the recovery partition and launch disk utility, that free space is in gray and the minus sign is grayed too. I tried a disk repair, but that didn't help. How can I reclaim the lost space?

Thank you

Never mind; I figured it out. My Macintosh HD was filevaulted, which prevented the resizing. I disabled filevault and everything is in order.
