iPod Green line running down new iPod video screen

I just got a replacement screen for my iPod video off eBay, and installed it. It works fine, however there is a green line running down the left side of the screen. It's very annoying. Is this a problem with the display or is it my fault in the installation of the screen?

Could be either one. Check to see if you secured the flex cable that connects the motherboard with the screen. You could also try blowing out the connector with some compressed air to see if there's some junk in it.

Just tried that. The problem is still there.
