Didn't Mac start Halo when it first came out? Does apple still own the rights to the game? Why don't they make it for Mac's again and draw some "Gaming" attention to the Mac, which seriously it is in need of.

I don't think Apple ever directly had a stake in Bungie Studios, but they were primarily a Mac game developer throughout the '90s. Steve premiered Halo at MacWorld to announce that it would be released on Mac and PC at the same time, but Microsoft nixed that by buying up Bungie and moving Halo to the Xbox. PC and Mac versions came later and much later, respectively.

Indeed. And in the process of going from Mac/PC -> ecksbawcks, it was (almost) completely changed.
