having trouble setting up a RAID in tiger

hey every1,
So i have two 300GB maxtor sata HDs. One ive been using alone as my system drive, and i added the other one today. However, i cant drag both of them into the area and create a RAID array. It wont let me drag the system HD into the RAID array.

Any ideas?

You can't boot off of a software RAID set, therefore you cannot drag your system disk into the area.
