I have a 17" iMac, which I bought on Aug. 23. After setting the machine up with OS X 10.1.4, I immediately upgraded to Jaguar with out reformatting. I have had no problems until Sept 13, when I had two kernel panics in less than five hours, both while accessing drives over a network, one on a Dell laptop with XP, the other a Compaq with 98SE. Does this just happen when you are accessing a drive remotely, or is there something genuinely wrong with my computer?:(

crazy......... I've never had a kernal panic.. puma nor jaguar.. maybe i haven't pushed my system hard enough? Anyway, this probably doesn't help, but I access windowz computers on networks just fine. However, I did do a clean install.
