So, its confirmed, im an idiot...I have no idea how, but I somehow scratched my xbox 360 game pro evo 6, its not huge, but quite deep, and once in a while the game just freezes. Are there any (preferably free) methods you could suggest. BTW I have cleaned it with a tissue, which worked for a while, but then the game froze again.

Please, I'm desperate

Do not, I repeat DO NOT use toothpaste. I've heard it works but it does not.

Fry's (or similar comp wharehouse store) usually has a cd cleaning kit which uses some fluid to fill the gap in the disc and restore it to working order.

They are cheap, but I have no experience with them. Might be worth a look?

Thanks, does anyone have experience with these kits? Or a homebrew solution?
