I received my new iMac and need to transfer my iTunes library to it. Someone told me there is a program (non-apple) to just plug my iPod in and do it that way. I've burned 30+ CDs to back up my library, but the song titles and artists did not go onto the discs. The previous PC they were on is history already. Can anyone help?

What you can do, you can copy the data files to the iPod and use it like an external HD to transfer over the files into iTunes.

won't work...

Won't work, the computer they were on before is alrady gone. They are on the iPod and the backup discs with no information only.
