Help With Tascam Drivers for PowerMac G4 MDD

I'm having problems with the Tascam US-1641 interface and it working with my mac. It downloads the drivers fine, and the control panel for the interface pops up and everything, but it says "No Inputs Detected", so it won't recognized any inputs. Sound plays through the interface and out the monitors fine, just not inputs. Any suggestions?
