Ever tried command-clicking the little white button in the top right corner of the finder window? Some interesting things happen!
It seems to cycle through all the icons.text options, AND the text small/large options!
Check out the attached pictures. One is just as is, and the other is after pressing the "search" button.
It's annoying Apple don't tell us more of this stuff!

Is that not standard for ALL windows with toolbars? It's certainly built into all the Cocoa apps I've ever written without needing any code.

yes it is standard, and very useful too, much simpiler to set it just the way that you want :D
