ARGH i have to check out of my hotel room at 10 and i have only started downloading now estimate is 52 minutes!!!

Decrease in call set-up failures and dropped calls
Significantly better battery life for most users
Dramatically reduced time to backup to iTunes
Improved email reliability, notably fetching email from POP and Exchange accounts
Faster installation of 3rd party applications
Fixed bugs causing hangs and crashes for users with lots of third party applications
Improved performance in text messaging
Faster loading and searching of contacts
Improved accuracy of the 3G signal strength display
Repeat alert up to two additional times for incoming text messages
Option to wipe data after ten failed passcode attempts
Genius playlist creation

How disouraging; iTunes crashed after downloading half of the update.

Nice list, covers pretty much all of my gripes with 2.0.X. And they didn't even mention the new way Location Services works (you get the option to switch it on temporarily or permanently).

Things are definitely snappier, no lags whatsoever but i'm still wary given that this may just be the result of a restore
No new features that i can discern except Carrier is now listed in the About page (NB not Network) mine says O2 2.6
Is that like repeat every 5 minutes or something? Or does it just repeat the ringtone a couple of times immediately?
