How does one downgrade from iOS4 back to 3.1.3 on a 3G phone?

Search for iPhone 3G (or 3GS) 3.1.3 IPSW on Google.

Option + Click on Restore in iTunes, and select that firmware bundle.

That'd work great if Apple was still signing 3.1.3 as valid.
