Here is the link to an article explaining the process for reverting from the Watch OS betas to a standard 1.0.X version.

Not exactly painless, but it is wireless. LOL

Here is the Apple Page where you start the process: https://getsupport.apple.com/ProductSelector.action

I called AppleCare and told them like an idiot I upgraded to WatchOS 2.0. Rep laughed and sent me a new Apple watch in 2 days and I sent mine back.

Can't do this process yourself.

Maybe you should read the articles before you post them?? Nothing new here.

" The process requires user to send in the Apple Watch to Apple and allow them to perform the downgrade. The company also notes that both Apple retail stores and Authorized Apple Service Providers are unable to comply with this request. Instead users in USA, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland must send in the device to Apple via Apple Support for downgrading."

I'm sorry. Was it common knowledge before this morning? I don't recall seeing this anywhere else.

Yeah it was pretty common knowledge seeing as how no one could downgrade. This just officially confirms it.
