How to use PowerPoint?

Well, i don't have any experience using powerpoint and this is the first time i'm forced to use powerpoint. Well, anyone around have done any powerpoint presentation, a short one will do, please let me have a look and is there any particular site, that will help me understand how to use powerpoint and how to make better slides instead of just words etc...

I did a quick google search and found a bunch of powerpoint templates.

the other thing you might want to do is search for tutorials on PowerPoint - you'll find plenty.
