Was one of those damn spiffy white ones that came with the g4 imac too....

But is it possible it may still work???

So a cup of water falls onto my keyboard while I'm out and the situation had most likely occured at least 15 minutes prior to my return. Immediately I freaked out, slapped myself for leaving the cup there, and ran to carefully unplug it.

Important facts pertaining to the scene:

Mouse plugged into the keyboard still worked before i unplugged it... (yay)
Keyboard shows no signs of discharge burns.
The left control key had no water inside its little "hole".
Another keyboard plugged into the port (this one) works ok.

Now I know that these keyboards are designed so that the keys act as umbrellas to displace the water away from the actual circuitry, but I don't know how much of this water it can take. If I let my keyboard dry out for several days (or several weeks) can I safely plug it back in?

If anybody has any experience with this sort of easily avoided disaster, I'd love to hear about it :D

Thanks a ton!
