I just replaced the keyboard on my iBook G3 800mhz 32 MB VRam. Looked all well and done, so I started it up, and that went smotthly. I shut it down by holding on the power button right away as I didn't need to use it right then. However, now I tried to turn it on and holding down the pwoer buttom seems to do nothing at all.

Any troubleshooting advice?

My first idea:

If the computer is on, turn it off.
Reset the power manager by simultaneously pressing and then releasing Shift-Control-Option-Power on the keyboard. Do not press the fn (Function) key while using this combination of keystrokes.
Wait 5 seconds.
Press the Power button to restart the iBook computer.

Thanks :) I was about to go through the resets, but it started working. :)

Now a new problem has revealed itself: the keyboard isn't working. It seems to be connected properly, and is on the same connector type. Any ideas?
